Rock Sliders

I am trying to find a place that's sells rock sliders for an 01 Explorer or contact someone who has put rock sliders on their Explorer.

Nobody makes a kit for our trucks but I'm sure you could make a kit for a 4-Runner work or any local 4x4 shop could fab you up some, some members on here have fabbed up some nice looking sliders, have you tried the search function or looked in the off-road section?

We are lucky to have a single vendor that builds bumpers for Explorers. Rock sliders- yeah right!

I had my set custom made for about $350 by a local welding vendor. Search craigslist for a welder and see what you find.

There's nothing bolt-on available, so just measure the length you need and buy whatever fits.

For my sport, I got Foothill Offroad 58" tube sliders. They're meant for 4Runner or Tacoma, but they make 58", 67" and 78", so they can fit most trucks within a few inches.

i read the whole thread that brian1 did on rocksliders he made his own that is the first thread the other 2 threads are good as well

brian1 is a fantastic for-fun fabricator
