Rocker Panel/ Dog Leg/ Fender Replacement

Well ive seen a hell of alot of stuff on everyones rocker panel and dog legs rotting and rusting and im no diffrent so i am ordering those 2 parts and the fenders in like a week after i get paid so i wanted to know a few tiny things...

How do i get the orginal parts off?...are they welded on or bolted or riveted...If there welded i have to cut the parts off and weld the new ones on am i correct?

Also with the fender that should just bolt off and the new one should bolt right on right?

Thanx
Jay

Jay,

I posted a reply to removing the dog legs for you in another thread. The fenders are bolted on. There are bolts:

at the top of the fender under the hood.
between the bumper and sheetmetal.
through the fender and rocker.
one you get at by opening the door.
a few close to the headlight but lower.

The plastic wheel well is also attached to the fender with bolts.
