alright , so i've decided to keep my truck. I had the downpayment ready for a Pontiac grand prix comp G supercharged, the whole works. Financially , I decided i wasn't ready to do it. So I backed out. So instead its time to give the x what it needs.

anyway, here are some pics of the mold of the roll pan , we used my truck and an older shcool X , the bumpers are interchangeable and it will fit nicely when done! check it out

thanks for posting those for me , i appreciate it !

Ill keep you posted , it should be awsome when its done

Can you explain to me why you took a mold of the stock bumper? How will that help you make a rollpan?

Either way I cant wait to see how it turns out!

We took a mold of the stock bumper because we did not have a starting point such as modifying an existing pan. Basically we are going to shorten it , and make it flush with the tail gate, and you will still be able to have your license plate where the stock location goes. it should turn out pretty good.

keep ya posted

nick

Can't you just use the stock bumper and shorten that? It would be stronger.

Could , but we are making it smoother looking , and We need to make a mold to sell them so we figured we may as well have done it this way , ya know ?

Nick

I see. Well, since you are only in Jersey, if this turns out good, count me in.

The idea is good in theory, but you're going to have to do a lot of shaping in order to make it look like a rollpan and not a mold of a stock bumper.

agreed. however, you can use the one you make now as a mock up. get it on the truck, "eyeball" it, and add to it to shape it. then, make another mold. i think making 2 molds would be the way to go.

just remember the stock bumper does not have the curve of the htch that you'll have to add in

exactly

Hey man, im just looking at your web page. Were those 20" Cobras or 18's? They look like 20's, but iver never seen 20's that were not at least polished. Either way, I like your truck.

I'm pretty sure he did a little choppage on the wheels. ;)

What kind of scoop is that? so nice!

SmoothKriminal - Thanks for checking out my truck. The wheels on in the pictures are 17x9 cobra r wheels. as you seen on the webpage ive messed around with a few different photshop projects.
Such as my X slammed to the ground which a friend of mine did for me, and the other pics are my cobras just slight enlargened , but i have pics of the 17's on there too i think ? Im not sure actually im gonna check that now because i thought had them up.....anyway thanks for checking out my truck, peace

Hartman - good observation :D

Silverblade - the scoop is a 2002 mustang gt hood scoop which i purchased off ebay when i got into an accident. the shop was working with my hood anyway so i had them throw that in , They studded 12 studs into my hood. And attached it with epoxy resin. Needless to say it aint goin no where. Thanks for the compliment!
