I recently replaced both cylinder heads as they were both cracked internally. Also a head gasket set so all gaskets were replaced. Now I have a rough idle. The RPMs drop and jump when idling, and sometimes they will drop when I let go of gas while driving. I pulled code P0171, lean on bank 1. Vacuum lines are all connected. I had some problems with my throttle cables because my buddy disconnected that so when I was hooking everything back up I wasn't 100% sure if I got the clip where it's suppose to be. Any tips would be awesome. Thx

Problem fixed. Turns out I didn't hook up all vacuum lines. Left one under the throttle disconnected. It was tucked away under the battery tray so I missed it during reassembly. At least it was something simple.

what vacuum line was that? i just threw in a new engine 4.0 ohv block heads cam everything is new nd im having a rough idle and a loud CLANK every 2 sec... if i look at my belt tensioner it jolts when it makes that clanking sound...

go figure a small problem creates alot of problems.

it was next to the thermostat housing, but mine was just a low idle, nothing like you described. good luck tho
