Need Help! Idles rough, stalls frequently, runs at speed.
Hello to all, new to the website. I own a 84 BII (2.8L V6) with only 73K on it, truck was originally my Grandmothers from new.
Truck runs normally when cold because it is at fast idle. Once it warms up it runs rough and frequently stalls. I have replaced the EGR Valve, EGR Position Sensor and the MAP sensor. Truck ran good for less than 48 hours before going back to rough idle. I have a clicking coming from the solenoid on the passenger wheel well (believe it is for the EGR/Vacuum system?).
Not sure what else to replace or test. I replaced the Distributor back in Aug and had it timed by a service shop. Could it be a timing or Carb setting issue?
