Rough Idle Questions

The link shows 17 ft/lb. If you used the inch/lb scale they would be VERY loose. (1 foot pound = 12 inch pounds)

Yeah then later in the article it says inch pounds, which threw me off. I will re-torque it all here this Friday afternoon. Got school tonight so no time.

Think I got it. But its snowing now so I am inside getting warmed up. There is a rubber 'gasket' that goes in around the egr tube that was somewhat stretched out and icked up. That and I forgot to plug the tube from the air-intake to where you fill the oil up. All things I just passed over and didn't see.

Yeah I was happy. I am guessing that one of the items that I replaced also fixed some of the main problems. Very happy with it.

i completely overlooked that hose in your video too, or i would have pointed that out. I forgot about that one once too, chased a poor idle and CEL for days lol

seen your videos. i also had that problem it was the tube coming up from the back of the EGR
valve into the intake. it was popped out a little i shimmed the the egr valve brackett up about 3/8 with a nut. runs perfectly now good hunting
