- 2006 Mountaineer V8 AWD
My replacement shocks suck. They are the Monroe Reflex shocks, put in about 10K miles ago, and they are way too soft, have been from day 1. The body lean is bad, and going through lane avoidance maneuvers feels almost dangerous.
I want something nice and stiff, so I want to get the Rancho RS5000. Used them before on my 95 Aerostar and 98 Mountaineer and they were great.
The question that I have is why does Rancho have different part number for the 2006 Mountaineer AWD and the 2006 Explorer 4X4? It's the same suspension between the two, right?
