I know a lot of you talk about running your power wires through the grommet behind the brake pedal, but how do you do this? Do you just drill a hole big enough for the wire to pass through? Do you drill it bigger and it shrinks down? Let me know, thanks.

I just cut a slit at first, didn't have any leaking or anything it was just big enough for one wire... but now with two 1/0 and a 4 awg wire, it pretty much takes up the whole grommet.

i had the same problem... I went ahead and ran it through the grommet. I took an exacto knife and cut a small slit and then I pushed the wire through it and let it stretch the hole just big enough for it to fit. does that make sense? in other words i cut a small hole and then jammed the wire through thus making the hole bigger but retaining a tight grip on the wire. Check this link out.

You can seal the area the wire runs through with black RTV silicone.

Goof luck ..........
