Running board?

Hello guys i was wondering if anyone has fit a set of 04 explorer 4 door stock running boards on a 1st gen explorer 4 door? Came acrosss a set at a good price and wanted to check first before i got them. thanks

It probably won't fit perfectly considering the first and third gens have completely different bodies.
