Running boards or step bars??

I want to add this to my eX, but i can't decide witch one to chose, i'll like to get OEM running boars specially the ones of a limited or EB, but they are really hard to find in my country, the step bars looks ok, but i'm not totally into then.

What do you guys (and girls) think will look better??

I like the look of the running boards better, i used to have them on my explorer. I just recently removed them tho

Personally i like the step bars

I like the step bars on the XLS, NBX, XLT; running boards on the XLT Sport, EB, and Limited.

for the running board are some painted to match? it might be easier to paint the bars imo. .i actually think they are more of a liability, mine will come off once my daughter is tall enough to get in on her own without them.

I'll see pics of both to see then side by side, but for the moment this will have to wait, cause my other truck engine just died yesterday and i have to buy a new one and the money i was gonna spend on step bars/running boards and paint for the plastics is going to the other truck.
