2005 ford explorer
I have a 2005 ford explorer that keeps running hot. I have changed the thermostat and thermostat housing and changed the water pump and everything looks good HOWEVER the truck keeps running hot. It gets hot about 15-20 mins after it is started. There is plenty of antifreeze. Does anyone know what else I should check/look at?
SIDE NOTE: there is no radiator cap to check beside on the reservoir.

Hello and thank you. How would I check the temp on the thermostat? We replaced the radiator yesterday and the fan is spinning but it is still running hot.

You likely need a waterpump
How many miles? You can remove the belt and check for any play in the wp snout and pulley. Any wetness around the water pump?

Very easy to change a water pump on a sohc v6
