running power wire

On my 98 I ran through same grommet as the hood release cable the hood release .

i drilled a hole under the break on the driver side. then installed a rubber grommet so my wire wouldnt rub aaint the metal.. it worked pretty well and i could not fit my huge 0 owg wire through any other hole that i found. if you rip up the carpet there is lots of huge gromets in the body of the car that lead straight to the frame for a nice ground though.. i can not remember if i found a bolt there to use or if i added my own bolt..

You can also run up to 0 gauge through the hole where the hood cable goes through. That's where I ran mine on my 97' XLT. It looks okay and has been there for a while now.

my cable wouldnt fit,,maybe i was lookin in a diff spot though.
