I have a rusted cargo area floor pan it's not rusted through fortunately but I hit it with a hammer and a lot of chunks came up previous owner let it sit in a field for 15 years with all 3 cargo windows leaking what should I do to stop it from rusting farther? Should I take it to macco and have them sand it down and repaint? Also it doesn't look like new floor pans are available for these really hope it isn't too far gone any thoughts?

one could cut out a non rusted JY section and weld in, but if its just surface rust sand as much as possible, spray w/ rust reformer or your choice, and then paint over if you want.

That's what I plan on doing once I get it back from having the motor rebuilt, should be done mid November
