Rusted Running Boards. Has anyone had theirs Line-X'ed

Well the rust on my factory running boards has finally gotten pretty bad. Has anyone tried to have Line-X or similair applied? Would that even work?
What other solutions have others tried? How much to repair or replace?
Would love to hear what everyone else had done to make theirs look good again.

i have the same problem i was thinking of getting them powdercoated but i think its expensive. might be cheaper to buy a new set of running boards. I dunno

Take them off and put some herculiner in their place!
