safari bar

I wanted to put a westin chrome safari bar on my EB, but I was wondering if there was another bar out there that was similar. I had a manik full bar on my other explorer and got into an accident, didn' help much, looked good though. Now I just want a little added protection up front and somplace to mount aux. light. Thanks.

Those bars are not going to help you much. They are just for show and lights. If you really want to have some serious protection, you'd have to look into getting a new bumper, steel wrap around or something similar. A winch incorporated into the bumper is even better protection (personal experience!!!)

Ygu, SmittyBuilt make a sport bumper called Outland, however it fits 99-01 models. Personally, I like the looks of the Westin. If you want protection, your still better off with a full wrap around.
