Not you, it was someone else that upgraded their brakes.

The Cobra R brakes are made by PBR. The brakes Saleen uses are Alcon.
AWD's have 2-piece front rotors, so the cobra R's are almost a drop-in. 2wd's have one-piece rotors and it's more of a hassle getting them to fit.

When I boot up my computer it says Windows protection error starting CONFIGMG: Restart windows?

The PBR guy says the Cobra R caliper will work on a 96 - up explorer with a stock master cyliner so long as the bore is 15/16 or larger, most X's have 1-1/16.
