When the Saleen shocks were on sale I called about them to see what ride height they were made for. They told me they were made for an explorer lowered approx. 1.5"....given that I'd say they lowered it an inch and a half.
no, no, no...the shocks were made for an explorer that is lowered 1.5" The same as the Edelbrock shocks. The shocks don't change the height at all, they are just different size shocks.
