Well, I took out the valve body on the 1999 Ford Ranger with 3.0 engine and did the TSB Ford Modification. Also added the new VB separator plate with gaskets. Still having the same problem. Transmission shifts good into Reverse. Will not engage in Drive. Must go to 2 or 1 and then rev the gas up to get it to take off. When it takes off, it shudders and shakes until it gets going. Don't know what the problem is, but looks like a complete rebuild or buy another used one and throw it in.
