SAS or lift kit on 98'?? and SAS cost

ive seen the prices on lift kits and was wondering if their worth it? it seems like i couls straight axle it for the same cost even less i cant see spending $2000 on a 4" lift, ive searched but havent found anyones total cost on SAS could some of you post a rough estimate of the total cost. i can get the elding done for a case a beer and a dana 30 for $200 the main thing im worried about is connecting the steering from a stock box to a jeep setup. Do i have to buy a different steering box or what?

Well my sas is more $$$$ than normal but you can do it for $3000 or so.
