Well were doing the finishing touches on a SPOA Leaf, on a 1998 ranger, and im having a ***** of a brain fart on how / what to do as far as fabrication of a cross member for the transmission..

I'll try and get pics soon...

Dane .. why dont you post a couple pics of what you were orginally try to do and why it wont work..
 






Check out how the Yota guys have been doing it. Check out the Pirate board for some pics... or check out www.rivercityrockcrawlers.com to see a few over there too.

I think you could use some of those ideas to make a pretty decent skid plate/tc holder upper thingy. :)

I'd put a crossmember there rather than a ratchet strap :)
