As many of you know, I've had pinging problem for a couple months now.
Seafoam, MAF cleaning, plugs, wires, intake manifold gaskets, etc.
Only thing I haven't addressed are EGR valve and COIL.
I KEEP thinking that a hotter coil will almost CERTAINLY reduce my PING, especially now that I know I'm no longer ingesting oil into the cylinders b/c of a leaky lower intake manifold gasket (which causes a ping).
AL revealed to us the screamin' demon coil he recently installed and said that it smoothed his idle out. Maybe if I index my plugs and add that hotter coil I'll reduce that God-awful pinging?
