I am hearing a screeching noise and it seems like it is coming from the left front of the truck.. I just noticed the noise yesterday but it seems
as though it was getting louder tonight and then started making almost like a scrubbing noise as well.. I slowed down more as I was nearing my neighborhood because it seemed as though the tire, wheel or something was going to be damaged.. Maybe I should mention my ABS light has been on also, not sure if that makes a difference? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated..

My guess is "front wheel hub bearing assembly" (bad bearing) needs replacing since the ABS light is on. If you have access to a floor jack, safely jack up the front left corner/tire of the vehicle off of the ground a few inches and spin the tire and listen for a growling sound coming from behind the center area of the tire rim. The hub is located behind the brake rotor. You can also try to see movement in the hub bearing by grabbing the tire with your hands at the 3 and 9 o'clock position and try to "wobble" the tire in and out. If you get a noticeable movement/wobble in the hub/wheel, the bearing is most likely bad.

If its just noise, I'd suspect brake pads. If there is a vibration, or a "hum" in the steering wheel I'll go for the bearing.

It costs nothing to check either one.

+3. "Screeching" noise + ABS light = Front hub bearing. 99% guaranteed.

Thanks for the info.. Is this something I need to get repaired ASAP? I was thinking about repairing today but maybe Friday or Saturday and it is my daily driver?

If the bearing is making that noise, I'd presume you'll have play. If you have play your close to losing a wheel. These usually fail but are still drivable for a period. Screaching isn't a good sign as it means metal on metal in a bad way. This could also result in enough friction to start a fire, your tires love fire.

I had the left front hub bearing repaired for $180 out the door.. My ABS light is now off..
