Screeching sound after VTA mod

Ok so I put some boomba VTA adapters on my platinum explorer for the cool woosh sound but it makes a screeching sound when I let off after the air purges. Is this normal? I took them off and then I didn’t hear it again. Also when slowing down I guess when the tank is slowing down the screeching makes it sound the the brakes need replacing lol.
