He'll ask you what mods youve done and youre engine/year,computer code (located between front passenger door hinges 4 digit alpha/numeric) then he emails you the tunes which you save and access via the install program that comes with the tuner. Dead easy, but follow his instructions and you'll be right. Mine needed a custom platform strategy as well because it was imported to Oz and James sorted that out for me too.

I also read something that said the vehicle could have a period of undrivablity. is this the case every time?

I havent had that problem mate, I just pulled the stock tune then downloaded the custom one and went and tested. you might want to consider what octane tunes you want and whether your tank of fuel is the same as your tune. you can run a higher octane than your tune but I wouldnt run a lower octane than your tune

i have contacted him. i'm waiting for a reply. i'm just trying to get an idea of what i'm getting into.
