Can someone please buy me a can of seafoam and send it to me. I have been to every napa and carquest in the area and no one knows what I am talking about. Sea Foam says they don't have any dealers local to me. If someone sends me a can I will pay for the can + shipping + $5 for you troubles. I have a wicked back lifter tick and I am hoping the seafoam can take care of it.

Thanks.

I can get you one.. want Motor Treatment?

i dont think seafoam can cure a wicked lifter tick... its really good, but isnt going to fix a broken engine....

EDIT: also it might be illegal to ship without costing ton$$$$ bcause it may be considered hazardous materials depending on which shipper you use

Huskyfan that would be great thank you.

Jimabena its not wicked bad its not even noticeable unless it echo's off of something. Im just **** and would prefer not to hear it at all.

Yea my bad for going a little over board. It just gets annoying when I am in drvie thru at dunkin donuts for a coffee and thats all I can hear.

if he falls though I got you.

Most items even hazardous waste can be shipped by air freight, commercial airlines have stricter limits. Say you have isopropyl alcohol, only 1 liter per package would be allowed on a commercial flight, but frieght could have several liters. It depends on what's in Seafoam by percentage/weight. My guess is one can could be sent air fright for pretty cheap - just like a 20 oz. can of most anything else.

I would to see what the can looks like even. No one knows it around here either.

The Advance autos around here have started to carry it, before it was only at NAPA.

I also have a ticking noise, only when it echos... basically it seemed to be an exhaust leak (blocked the leak for a second with my finger lol while it was cold). Im fixing that right now.

I took it back to the dealer I bought it from because I thought I had an exhaust leak. The let me into the shop with them and we listened and could hear it coming from inside the motor.

I used it in my engine oil and got rid of the lifter tick. I took the bottom oil pan off and cleaned the pickup filter which had a very small amount of sludge on it. If you use it through the fuel system be warned that you could end up with a clogged fuel filter...change it! This is what happened to me a few weeks ago and could not place an engine miss. When I replaced the filter the fuel drained like a river towards the fuel tank, and had a lot of sediment in it. Know the miss is gone and have new life in the old girl.

We have it around here, I think i may pick up a can and give it a whirl, i also have a annoying ticking, worth a try, i used some Lucas Oil treatment but havent noticed any difference yet.

Hey Huskyfan when do you think you would be able to pick this up for me?

Any time.. I was actually waiting for a PM :p
