A while ago I had a JVC headunit that kept blowing its fuse. Sent it in and got it repaired no problem. They said that I also check all my cables and wires for shorts. The speakers I can do with no problem but the in dash wires I have no idea how to check them.
I was thinking of running a new ground back to the battery. Just to be on the safe side.
Any ideas on how to check and make sure everything is ok would be of great help. Thanks.
PS I should add when I got the truck the audio system was horrible. Who ever did the install before cut the factory harness instead of using a adapter. So I had to splice on back on then use the adapter. It was working fine for a month until the headunit went out.
