seat covers

kinda new to the explorer world but what is the best
way to go $ for $. either replace the hole seat from a newer x or get oem style seat covers. if seat covers what year will work with my current seats. my old ones
are pretty bad(musty) plus pior owner was haevy smoker.

You can always check a salvage yard for seats. Older models (95-99) can be had for decent deals, expecially cloth. You can then have them professionally shampooed (or do them youself). In the end you can get an almost-new seat or two for a fraction of the price of a new set.

that is true even when you at prices of good seat covers.... try Wet Okole for instance.... around $250.00 per set (front or back sold seperately) so that's $500.00 for all the seats...
