Hey all. I recently busted the recline lever on my drivers seat. Ford wants from $35-60 for the replacement.
I made one (wasnt easy cutting it with a bandsaw) Then broke it up on a sheetmetal brake.
You see they stamp these out (which is great for mass production(hard to reproduce!)
its beefier but isnt any thicker since it needs to slide into the balck pastic lever (for those that have removed it, know what Im talking about)
Anyways I wanted to know from those that replaced theirs with the Ford part,
what came in the kit and how did you replace the LARGE RIVETS? As they arent normal and the gun that puts them in has to be special it appears?
Thanks for any info,
Doug
