Ok, Check it out, Ive got a 93 XLT, and Im looking to change my back bench seats in replace of 2 bucket seats. anyone know what mods. this will entail? Do I have to have new seat brackets or can I use the ones my benchs sit on? anyone have any idea? If I do it, im gonna have a console place between them just like in the front of the truck.

I think you will need new seat brackets. I'd go to the bone yard and get the seats and brackets from the front of a wreck. Might get lucky and get a console as well. If you're real lucky you can find ones that match your existing interior. I'd really like to see how it turns out when you get it done.:redexp:

A few members have done this before. Try using the search engine for seat conversion or something like that.

The simplest thing to do would be to get yourself a pair of matching front Ex seats (assuming your front seats are still stock) from a wreck and put the two whole units in the back. Tracks and all.

looks like next week, im off to the junkyard, so salvage some seats and hopefully a console.

Definately post pics. The '01 sports have the map plus interior lights for the front and back seats. It seems to me they should have put buckets in the front and back also!

Yeah as soon as I get it all done Ill try and post some pics. I need to find the seats first. but Ill let you guys know as soon as possible!!
