Secure Long Gun storage solutions?

Has anyone discovered a secure long gun storage solution that doesn't permanently remove the ability to use your 3rd row seats or access to the spare tire? I thought I had found something that mounted to the lift gate (the product is called Rifle Slide), but alas, the company seems to have gone out of business.

Not a gun, but in my 2nd gen this is how I store my fishing poles. Fishing Pole Storage You could probbaly adapt the idea to be more secure, such as using some locking mechanism.
