Sensor or transmission problems?

i got a 97 explorer v8 4wd every time i put in revers or drive the truck turn off:navajo: i want to know if is a sensor or transmission problems pleas let me know thankx.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the transmission section. It could be the TCC solenoid (transmission), IAC solenoid valve (engine) or a vacuum leak.
