Sensor top center of motor

I am looking for the name of the sensor that is located in the top center of the motor under the intake between the heads?? It bolts directly into the top of the block. thanks for your help.

Correct

i believe that should be the knock sensor.

For 2nd generation Explorers only the SOHC V6 has the knock sensor.

Yes I did thank you for the help. One more question regarding the knock sensor if its not hooked up will it cause the fuel pump not to pump??
 






Why not just hook it up?
