Does anyone know how to separate the taillight lenses from the backing? I've got a pair of second gen taillights that I want to separate to get behind the lenses... As far as I know, the lenses are just glued on, so I think I can use an oven and melt the glue, then separate the two parts... the thing is, I have no idea what the temp needs to be at or how long it I should leave the lights in... anyone have any ideas?

I'm so impatient...

hey there- I have read that you can set the oven to 300F and let it preheat- then turn it off and put your headlights in. Read that you should not exceed 7 min, and that you should put the light on cardboard so as not to melt the tabs.
