Service Manual Recommendations?

I'm slowly getting my Explorer Sport sorted out--put a used Jasper 5R55E in along with an upgraded valvebody, with new and larger leaf springs and shocks going in this week. Now its time to sort out the tunes, Mach system has blown woofer and I need to remove panels, etc. I've been looking for a factory service manual, but not looking to drop a bunch of cash on new books, even though I prefer paper catalogs. Has anyone bought one of these DVD manuals from ebay?

Do you know if the DVDs mimick the factory service manual, or are they actual digitized factory service manuals? I'm just curious where the data comes from to make these DVDs.

Someone had posted a link to a downloadable factory copy.

It was like a 1.5 GB download.

May be a dead link by now.

You can usually find the Ford service manual used on ebay. I got the complete 3 book set for $30 shipped for my 2002. Keep in mind another year like 98 or 2000 will also get you by.

I like paper ones also. I got a set off eBay for my 96, although I have never used them. I also bought a CD off eBay, but I think it loaded malware during installation...
