Shackle Install Question

is this the right size ratchet and socket to install the WAR-153 shackles on my 1999?

May be a stupid question, but I just want to ensure that I'm ordering the right thing

i dont remember what size socket i used to get my bolts loose, but i think it was 19mm. being that youre in ohio, you might need a longer ratchet than that and a whole lot of pb blaster to get the bolts loose on your rig because of rust. you might want to get yourself a breaker bar.

Or a strong rigid pipe that fits over the wrench handle. (Cheater bar)

You might wanna go 1/2" drive if your gonna start using breaker bars. I have sheared off my share of 3/8" stuff.

i just checked my shackles and the bolts and i used a 21mm socket. at that size, you might as well go find yourself a 1/2" breaker bar. you can get one at harbor freight for under ten bucks.

and you just might want to order 2 of these bushings from ford

F57Z 5A546 AA

those are the ones that go into the frame off the shackle. the bolts are known to freeze into them.
