I just wanted to share with those who can appreciate this as my wife does not understand my enthusiam...I just bought a set of michelin alpin 4x4 winters on steel explorer rims 2nd hand for 250 cdn!!! The tires still have the little rubber "spikes"! still on them. I am so stoked, they might have maybe 5000km on them! The guy had sold his Explorer and they were taking up space in his garage. New up here I would have been looking at 600 for the tires and another 200+ for the rims and taxes from costco ...now I just have to figure out how i can explain to my wife how we are actually $600 ahead.....
