SHE WONT START :(

Hello, Great bored so far! i have been having some extreme problems with my 91 xlt 4.0, i had it put on the machine and it said my ECT ? or ETC was out of alignment and thus why my engine light came on after 5 minutes of driving, . so replaced it. now as for history of the problem goes back 2-3 weeks. 2 weeks ago my vehicle started all right but chugged and gasped to keep goin, shot out black smoke, sounded ****ty as hell. anyway week ago it decideds to stop starting. there was about 7 liters of gas in my crankcase, so i had to change the oil today before i could even start it after i installed that new ect. btw, my plugs are saturated with gas when i take them out. so from what i know, something is making something put to much fuel into the chamber and it cant burn that much fuel. the exact moment it started was like this, drove to work, parked. 9 hours later, come out to start it, had the chokin problem and loss of power and now it wont start . please help me, any suggestions are appreciated.

Sounds like fuel pressure regulator ,Ive been getting some advice on this lately and gas in the oil is a good sign of FPR trouble. Good Luck

Also make sure that all your plugs and wires are firing and that the throttle isnt stuck. May sound silly but its almost impossible to keep an engine running when you have two cylinders down. Pull each plug out one at a time and turn the enigne over and make sure that there is a spark. Good luck and welcome to the board!!

just to note, i know it has good spark. so im thinking check out o2 sensor on my exaust and my FPR i belive it be called. anyone know a round about price for these items ? in can or usd, thnx

My O2 sensor is going in tommorow, $90 CDN. (ouch) FPR I dont know but I hope its not next. Ill let ya know.
