SHIFT CONTROL MODULE (4X4)

I have a 1992 explorer sport v6 4.0 manual.
I want to know if my my shift control module is the same that the explorer 95, 96.
IS IT?
I dont know, and a friend have a Shift Control Module (explorer 95)
I want to buy it
Will it work in my SUV?

The 1996 is different than the 1992. In 1996 the shift control became part of the Generic Electronic Module GEM. I believe the 1995 is the same as 1996.
