Shift position display

Hi guy's can you help please , The dash display showing P-R-N-D-2-1 is out of alignment
When I am in Drive the needle shows 2 and when Im in Drive the vehicle is in neutral, Looks like the display has moved over 3/4 to the next position. How do I fix it ?

There is an adjuster wheel under the dash. You gotta take off the plastic and metal piece under the steering wheel (not the steering column covers) I will post a pic in a minute.

This is what the set up looks like under the dash. It will be bolted really close to the steering column. The other end of it comes out of your gauge cluster right by the gear position indicator.
