Just some info to pass on, had a wicked shimmy in the front after I would drive over some uneven surfaces at any speed, the shimmy would be accompanied by a thud/knock in the front end. I figured one or more of the ball joints had given up after 94,000 miles. Did a quick inspection this weekend on the front suspension and found the cause real quick. Passenger side tie rod end bolt had backed itself off and was only stopped from coming completly off by the (thank god) cotter pin. The tie rod end was able to raise appox 1/4-1/2 " out of the drag link...Kinda scary when i stopped to think about it. Hope my experience can help someone else
