Shock extender???can i do it

Hey i got new shocks 1 year ago monro sensa trac's the guy at the garage said i need to get a longer shock because of my 3" lift and lowering the radius arm is there a way i can get a piece of metal and make an extentoin or should i get new ones like procomp or rancho??

best bet is to just fork out $35 per shock and get new ones.

Or you can buy shock extenders at some parts stores.
