I am planning a SOA conversion for my truck. I believe there will be between 5-6" of lift gained by doing this. Where is a good point to mount dual-shocks and how long should they be? I know a few people have done this and any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you use the superlift brackets you can use the stock length shocks. As for the dual shocks I've never seen them for the rear.

Jason,
Won't you limit suspension travel using stock-length shocks with a spring-over? If not - great, I already have shocks... Just want to be sure.
Thanks

Jon

When the superlift brackets are used it raises the shock mount on top of the axle 5.5" also.If you look at the mount stock it's under the axle. You will need shocks for the front.

Is yours a SOA as well? That would be great if I can use stock - I'll get 9000's for the front and run dual 5000's in the rear - very cool!

Yes,I have the superlift with the spring over. The rear is the easiest part.I just lifted the rear unbolted the springs from both ends put the bracket in place and bolted the spring back on top. That is really just about it for the rear.
