I have a shop that is willing to build the shock mount skid plate for the '91-'94 Ford Explorers. The skid plates will sell for $125.00 a pair + shipping.

These skid plates start with new shock mounts from Ford. 1/4" plate steel is then flame cut to the proper dimensions and ground smooth. The plate is then bent to fit around the stock spring mount and finally it is MIG welded in place along all of the seams. This is one tough piece!
