I have an 01 sport that I have been planning on lowering for awhile. I also need to shocks seeing as I have 86,000 miles and original shocks as far as I know seeing as half the rears are rotted away. I was wondering if there were some different length shocks that would be better for lowering instead of stock size shocks. I have seen people using the edelbrock 3389 and 3489 but were hopefully looking for something a bit cheaper than $100 a piece. So which shocks would be the best for the money?
Also when I go over bumps I hear a noise that sounds like im dragging a chain and its hitting the ground. would this be a noise that could possibly be created from bad shocks? or is it some other part that is worn on and needs to be changed.
thanks
