Should a 94 Sport have a driver Airbag?

My insurance co wants $30 more cause they say my 94 sport doesn't have an airbag. The owners manual states that it does. I have to go to a Ford Dealer & have them verify that I do, or do not have an drivers airbag. Is there a way I can tell?

Nope......the older explorers didn't have an airbag as an option. Sorry....you're out 30

The owners manual says that it does? You positive? Because Lee is right, the airbags came out in 95.

yup lee and stephen are right only 95+ had the bags....90-94 didnt have any

Besides if it did, it should say "SRS" on the steering wheel. There should also be a metal tag just inside the windshield that say's "Airbag". Maybe whoever had your Explorer before you, lost the manual and replaced it with a '95 manual?
