Should I replace cam tensioners?

Hi

after reading thread "Ford is putting engine #3 in my Exploder @34k" I am considering replacing the cam tensioners as I am currently rebuilding a 97 4.0 SOHC engine to go into my Ford Sierra XR4x4. Is this a wise thing to do, were they identified as being faulty, and if so has the design been improved?

I believe there was a recall on the cam tensioner problem. Try doing a search.
