I was thinking around $200 for the steel, another $100 for the hardware/gas/rods for 2 sets, so yeah, $300 sounds right.

I am trying to get it done before Labor day for the CCR meet in Ouray. I really dont want my spare on the roof, or in the back on that trip. Long way to go, and the MPG & Center of Gravity is terrible with my full size on top. Not to mention the weight of it, ugh! Cargo area will of course be filled with camping gear and tools.

Hmm, I spy a set of T-bars. can you see what code is on the door for them please. If they are stiffer than mine i can use them too.

C/V axles, brakes calipers & brackets, and hubs I need.

Appreciate the offer too, i am needing some spare parts in case of failure on the trails. Steak for lunch ok with you?

Steak sounds good, ill take you wheeling in my b2 also. The sooner you can come the better i dont wanna have to move the parts again they went from my garage to outside and they need moved to the farm but would be better if u come get em, I will have to check codes tommorow. Good day to come is this sat, u can go to fair and watch mud run starts at 4:00 or just whenever. give me a about o lets say 3/4 weeks u can see this ex with front end under it and motor swapped hopefully.

Oh ok I saw those, Im at work now i'll check tonight.

You will want to keep that power steering cooler to. I re-used mine to help the gen 1 box stay cool while turning the bigger tires.

Anybody have any knowledge about headers for the SOHC 4.o, like how much HP increase? price, worth the money? Pics of them. Thanx

Dont waste your money on them. A guy on another site put them on his 4.0 and did a dyno run before and after and got zero gains. The stock manifolds flow very well. I could see using them if you were to SC or TC the motor.

Thanks Chad. I thought i heard that headers werent worth putting on the SOHC. Yea I will try and reuse the cooler. Main goal this week is to get tranny pulled. Hopefully next week motor pulled and clutch pedals installed. Also frame mods for steering box.

It was alot of fun grinding down the area where the new steering box goes. I went 2 or 3 disks just on that alone. I tried using my plasma cutter but it went through the frame.:fire:
But if you are pulling the motor first it should be alot easier..

Yep, motor out shouldnt be so bad. I want a plasma cutter :(

Gman- I guess im not looking right place, to long a day, but on the Torsion bar it self it has Fxxxxx something space BC, is BC the # u need
or on bottom row of sticker on door Tp/PS and below that is D/ or below TR is D? i dont see springs, I see axle which is D4, for 3.73 LS?

Thanks for looking. Mine says "Springs" then exactly what yours says.....B F.

F is the code, and it is one of the softer bars, almost the softest they make:(

I am looking for quite a but stiffer t-bars. Sorry for all the confusion. Looks like I can make it up there this Saturday. It is a few hour drive for me, I will head out as early as I can.
