Well only progress made is, transfercase is out, hope 2 have the motor and tranny pulled in about 2 weeks or so, pretty busy with mud runs right now

Well: To get myself speeded up, I now have a deadline. I have off work so we can go on Colorado run, just need to finish this. Shouldnt be a problem.

So, your going to try to make the CO run after all? Sweet!

Thats the plan, hope to make some headway this week, tonight i cleaned garage and tools, i cant stand working when it gets to cluttered. I have to fix some studs on mustang tommorow night and put together a 9in 3rd member so i can put it outta the way, and hopefully by wed. will be wrenching on the EX

Well tonight i mocked up front still needs towers bolted, trac bar mount, steering and new engine cross member brace. Didnt get my dang coils sitting perfect seem to have that problem gues i cant see straight, but it never made my b2 ride funny. Little concerned with the amount of room between frame and coils, have many people done a coil spring narrow 44 swap, seems like frame might be a pinch wide. No trac bar yet, its gonna be tight.

I also pushed axle forward just a bit, for more clearance for bigger tires and better climbing angles

So far tonight I have pulled stock tranny and getting ready to go back downstairs and work on getting engine ready to pull. By end of weekend i hope to have clutch pedals installed and hopefully done with steering and trac bar mods. If not early next week. If things go smooth hope to fire up this other engine next weekend. I have to get this thing running and make sure gonna be reliable for Moab/Colorado trip in 6 weeks or so.

Your really going to have to install rock sliders on this truck. Its too nice looking to bang it all up like your B2.

You know, your Bro and his Ranger need to go to Colorado too! That's a nice rig he has there, it will work great out there.

He won't have the $$$ to do that, other wise im sure he would, I'll see if he will thoe.

Argggh, how do you guys do all this work so damned quickly! It took me a week by myself just to do my BL... sigh, I feel so inadequate :(

May look quick, but takes along time, also my body is raised but not bolted back down yet, still have to run around and find longer bolts. Also you get faster after you have done several of them, also I'm not building anything for show, its all go and for use, so some area of my work may not be quite what others would do.

Yeah, I hear that. I do work pretty slowly as well, I've only just started learning about trucks and what not about 5 months ago, so I'm still relatively new to all of this

Dont forget to install some lights on it. You might need them out in CO, you will deff need them when we go night wheeling at SMORR.

Tow points? Deffinitly need those.

It will get auxillory lighting.
Update engine is ready to pull just needed chain to hook it up to the cherry picker. Im actually shocked about how easy it has been to pull out. Once its out i can really start to make some progress. If all goes well hope to start other engine next weekend.
