im a day away from picking up a set of 31x105s
does anyone have pics of thier 96+ explorer with 31s? stock height even? or with a lift.

Here's mine with TT/WAR153 and 31 BFG AT's....i no longer have the X, but it was a nice ride

where did you get 2" lift springs?
 






Carrier Spring Services Ltd.

They're probably not as nice as the Old Man Emu springs, but they'll do until I get the SAS done. They flex pretty decent and ride nice on the road though.

so all you do is swap out the new springs.?
how is the ride quality?

Yep, they just bolt right in. Ride quality is alright. They're a little more bouncy than the stockers because they have more of an arch to them, but with the adjustable rancho 9000's, the rear is smoother than the front with the cranked up TT. The main reason I went with these over longer shackles was that I had the standard driver's side sag that I wanted to get rid of, and at that time, I wasn't planning on doing a SAS so soon. Here's apic of the old and new springs next to each other.

91 stock suspension 31X10.50X15's

I have no prob with 31's on my stock suspension. No rub at all
