I have noticed lately that my 94xlt shutters at highway speeds (60-70). I consider this an emergency b/c the shutter is getting more pronounced. I feel it mostly in the steering wheel and in the brake/acceleration pedal, along with below my feet on the driver side. I have noticed that when I press on the brake at high speeds the shutter increases with strenght but not frequency. Could my brake rotors be warped? The truck has 184000+ miles and the steering is a bit loose. The ball joints were replaced about 25000 years ago. I put the truck on a lift and the tie rods are not loose... any ideas what the problem could be? The truck also needs new front shocks (bounces), could this be the cause of the problem? Thanks for the help.
